The small Ilksbach waterfall is beautiful and a real little highlight on the Werra-Burgen-Steig.

In March 2025 there is still no bridge or similar over the Ilkbach near the waterfall!

A really nice piece of earth. Unfortunately, the bridges over the Ilksbach are currently (August 2023) closed because they are very dilapidated. I got to the other side with the help of my trekking poles and stones and slightly damp feet.
