The ascent of the Citadelle de Namur via the route merveilleuse is a beautiful one to do over the small cobblestones with the hairpin bends. A beautiful view awaits you at the top. It can be busy there.

The road to here is a narrow road (not in great condition) that doesn't climb too steeply. Cars are allowed to drive here, but you hardly encounter them.

La Croix Scaille is the highest point of the Province of Namur (505 meters). It is located on the border with France. There is a lookout tower Tour Millénaire here. You can eat and drink something here, especially during the weekends, in the chalet opposite. The first Belgian Wolf was once spotted here.
