나무르‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪17‬개의 호수

댐의 기원은 이 지역의 수류를 조절할 필요성에서 비롯됩니다. 석회질 토양, 구릉 지형, 빠르게 흐르는 수로가 특징인 풍경에서 홍수와 계절별 수위 변동은 반복되는 현상이었습니다. 따라서 Féronval의 댐과 같은 작은 댐 건설은 수위를 안정시키고 물을 분배하며, 경우에 따라 에너지 또는 관개를 지원하기 위한 목적이었습니다.

Park Marie-Louise—officially Louise-Marie Park—is a historic city park in Namur. Created in 1879–1880 on the city's former moats, the park bears the name of Louise-Marie d'Orléans, the first Queen of Belgium. Covering approximately 3 hectares, it is one of Namur's oldest and most distinctive parks. Designed by landscape architect Constantin Smits, the park is structured on two levels. The lower level features a pond reminiscent of the former moat, along with an artificial grotto and winding paths. The upper level offers open lawns and views of historical features, including the remains of the Dutch bridge that once provided access to the Brussels Gate. Park Marie-Louise combines romantic 19th-century landscaping with tangible traces of the city's military history. Today, it offers a tranquil green space within walking distance of the city center, popular with walkers, joggers, and visitors who want to combine nature and heritage.

Large fishing ponds (private). Magnificent place for hiking, running or cycling. The place is quiet, the wide path between the two ponds is accessible to the public to reach Baconval, Gourdinne, etc. but also the forest massif watered by the Ruisseau du Moulin. The surroundings are varied: rural, wooded and with scattered housing.

Hike completed Saturday 07/09/2024. BE CAREFUL IN THE LAST STRAIGHT LINE which runs along the lake: we are stopped by a padlocked gate giving access to the area; fortunately there are flexible fences around, and one of them having already been raised (probably by someone who had the same joke as me), I was thus able to enter the playground. Fortunately, I came across an employee who showed understanding and did not worry me. But I don't know what could have happened if the area had been closed!!! This route would have to be modified accordingly.
