Våttåberget is a popular and scenic 249-metre hill. There is a tower on the top with good panoramic views out over Trondheimsfjord. There is also a a nice seating and campfire area by the tower. This is a family friendly hill to hike and accessible for most of the year.

A small peak (47 m) with a great view of the island. There's no bench, but you can sit on the rocks. The gravel road ends before this point, and a small path leads uphill, with occasional puddles and muddy ground from the rain (early June).

Spillumsfjellet is a fine summit in the Namsos region. It boasts a glorious panorama of truly wild Norwegian countryside and out to the fjords.

The top of Forbordsfjellet provides superb views across the fjords and towards Trondheim. It's a wonderfully rewarding hike.

The summit of Tårnet is partly overshadowed by the World's largest garden chair, at the stunning viewpoint to the south. However, this 1,102-foot (336 m) summit is worth seeking out too.

This is the signposted trail to Tyskenghatten, a fine summit that boasts tremendous views towards Heilhornet in Nordland. The trail is marked but dress appropriately, as the weather can be fickle.
