The Koskipuisto (Rapids Park) offers you picturesque views of the river, and the peaceful surroundings make it an excellent place to stop and relax.

This is the only Orthodox convent in Finland. It is a wonderful, silent and peaceful place. The nuns are very friendly, the rooms neat and clean. There's also a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. I visit this place every summer.

The Orinoro Gorge was formed by meltwater flows at the end of the last ice age, around 10,000 years ago. A stream of meltwater that flowed northwest to southwest as the ice sheet retreated cleared the gorge of loose rock and soil.
