There are usually many waterfowl on and around Lake Bachtel, especially swans. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a beaver.

The Bachtelsee surprises with a high number of waterfowl. Of course, swans are particularly noticeable. The crux of the matter is that an almost continuous row of hedges separates the lake from the path along the shore - through small gaps you can see the birds relatively close to the shore ... but do not take photos, the birds stop at the few places where you can get to the shore distant ... why only ..? 🤔🫣
