Seetörlsee is picturesquely nestled below a small mountain pass on the route between Saalbachkogel and Hochkogel. This small mountain lake lends a special atmosphere to the high alpine landscape and, when the wind is calm, reflects the surrounding peaks. The nearby Seetörl Pass marks a transition between the mountain ranges and offers magnificent views of both sides of the valley—an ideal spot for a short rest amidst impressive natural scenery.

Here you can simply sit and enjoy the mountain panorama.

What a struggle to get up here, but the joy is even greater when you have made it and are standing at the top of the pass. Great panorama.

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road has been one of Austria's most monumental landmarks for almost 90 years. It combines the fine art of high alpine road construction with the magnificent natural experience of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the largest nature reserve in the Alps and one of the most fascinating landscapes on earth.

From here you can go to the Pinzgauer Hütte or over to the Schmittenhöhe

Make sure you don't miss the turnoff to Maurerkogel. Follow the well-marked hiking trail.
