At 469 m (NN), the Mühlberg is the highest elevation on the premium hiking trail "Hutewaldweg". From up here you have a good view of the Hoher Meißner (754m). However, it is advisable to take binoculars with you.

This vantage point is a little off the Fulda cycle path, but can still be seen from afar. The summit cross can be seen from afar.

View from the Nikolaikirche (born from 1320) to the Felsburg The rock castle has been enthroned majestically on a 200 m high basalt cone above the Edertal since the 11th century. At that time it served as the ancestral seat of the Counts of Velisberc. The Zwinger and the entrance area with the tower, which is adorned with an envious head, were built in the 14th century. The keep visible from afar - in the so-called "butter churn shape" - is almost 30 m high and one of the highest castle towers in Hesse. The only surviving building within the castle complex is the castle chapel dedicated to St. Pancratius. In a castle museum, finds from the time when the castle was built are on display. From the Felsburg you have a wonderful view of the historic old town of Felsberg and the surrounding Edertal. If you ride the R 1 cycle path and cross the railway line in the direction of Morschen, you should take the short detour to the left (!) and visit the Kappelberg. Only about 250 meters north-east is the wooden cross on the (small) summit of the Kapellberg, which can already be seen from the cycle path. There is a rest bench and the summit book.
