At 675 m, the Wüstegarten is the highest mountain in the Kellerwald and Kellerwaldsteig. The Kellerwald Tower offers a great view. The viewing platform is at 700 m.

If you come from above you can drive past quickly. On the stones - wide about 6 meters high about 15 meters - there is a wooden cross. The stones are also a well-known hiking destination.

If you have fought your way up there is a great view when the weather is nice.

Please note: the last 60 m are very rocky, we had to push. I almost recommend a mountain bike. It continues similarly over Bohlesteige. Pushing is announced. This is also a nature reserve, be respectful there
