Super steep at the end. The way up is okay. The way down is rather tough; it's a sloping, exposed, rocky, and sandy path. Only recommended in good conditions and if you don't mind going downhill.

Ryten is a deservedly popular objective that's suitable for avid hiking families. The views from the top down to the idyllic Kvalvika Beach are sumptuous. Take care on the path up, as the cliff edge is never far away... and it's very steep.

A short but steep trail leads up the mountainside to a ridge high above the village of Reine. The Sherpas have carved a total of 2000 stone steps up the mountainside. While the steps make the walk more sustainable and safer than before, good footwear is required, so be prepared and take care.

Uphill all the way but beautiful views. Go during june-july to witness midnight sun. Its really surreal.
