On a bike tour you should take a break here and visit the salt mine. On the guided tour you get a lot of information about the salt mining. You drive into the tunnel with a mine train and then walk through the mine with a guide. You have to put on a fun (and warming) jumpsuit. On the footpath you have to/may slide down two longer slides, you cross the mirror lake (in the mountain) with a raft and go back out with the pit train.

Magnificent summit panorama to the Bavarian mountains (Watzmann, Hochkalter). Descent to Hof possible. Starting point and end point accessible by public transport.
