The Schellenberger Ice Cave is the largest show ice cave in Germany. You can explore its spectacular interior on a guided tour. The tour takes place every hour on the hour and lasts around 45 minutes. The path through the cave is on wooden stairs and walkways.
The cave is open from the end of May to October. Admission costs 12.50 euros for adults and 6 euros for children and young people (6 to 16 years).

Not far from the cave at a small wooden hut is the meeting point. One of the cave guides will pick you up from there. Together you go into the large entrance cave wearing helmets. In small groups you then go down a spiral staircase into the ice cave. There you can see ice that is 2000 years old. With the flashlights or carbide lamps, a very special light is created that sets the ice cream in scene.
