The loneliest bay of the Stechlin, as the state border to MV is further north. For hikers from MV, the north bay is the first thing you see from Stechlin. Very wild and lonely.

Beautiful in every season. The natural hiking trail usually runs directly on the shore or within sight of the lake. Motorboats are not allowed on the lake, so it is very quiet.

Depending on the weather conditions, the semi-natural path can be muddy and slippery. Shoes with a good profile are also advantageous because of the roots, stones and holes in the path.
