Great place to take a break.

The "Jungfernloch" (Jungfern Hole) is a quiet spot with a small cottage and a deep forest pond in front of it. Unfortunately, today (May 1, 2024), no reflection could be seen because the water surface was not clear enough. Legend has it that a maiden from Homberg Castle drowned here along with her white horse many hundreds of years ago.

There is a lovely barbecue hut on the "Black Sea". The area in front of it is also ideal for a rest break.

More of a small pond than a sea, but you can walk around it to add a few meters to your tour. ;)

The imposing wooden grill hut on the Black Sea can be seen from afar. In the meantime, the area has been expanded to include a great wooden seating area.
