The Protestant St. Mary's Church in Jarmen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, was built between 1863 and 1864 and is one of the most important ecclesiastical buildings in the region. A special feature is the bell dating from 1409, one of the oldest bells of the former Pomeranian Protestant Church.

Life-threatening between Passow and Schwinge-Siedlung!!! Lots of cars (including large ones) on the narrow road.

At least there's a small stretch of this road where you can enjoy a decent path.

Beautifully restored building with a courtyard and museum. Guided tours are offered, where you can learn about the city's history and the restoration of the entire site (documented with photos). There are also exhibitions and a small café here. Visiting is free, but donations are requested to help maintain the site.

A bridge takes you over the Peene here. There are various theories about where the river's name comes from. One says that the name comes from the Slavic word Pěna, which means "foam". Whatever the case, the Peene originates from several source rivers, all of which have Peene in their name.
