The Brembiolo canal is not an artificial canal, but a natural watercourse that has been traced since ancient times, in fact it is considered an ancient prehistoric river. As early as 400 BC, the Celts settled along the course of the Brembiolo and entered the surrounding woods colonizing the territory. In the Middle Ages, mills were built along the course of the Brembiolo for the production of flour and oil. Unfortunately, its floods are famous, which have put Casalpusterlengo to the test, the most important in 1934 that flooded the town for several days, but also the most recent in 2014. The cycle path runs alongside the canal with very suggestive points along the watercourse

Quiet and well-kept path that runs along part of the Brembiolo (PLIS) from Casale to Zorlesco

Along the new Brembiolo cycle path, between Casale and Zorlesco. Beautiful dirt road, easy to pedal. This section features approximately 500m of zigzags in the woods on cobblestones.
