This tour is highly recommended. Great landscapes, lakes, lots of forest, great hiking trails, not too rocky. However, a good 2 km of the tour are very difficult. Good fitness, surefootedness and climbing ability are an advantage.

Lake Kruth-Wildenstein is a picturesque mountain lake in the Vosges, surrounded by forests and mountains. It offers activities like swimming, fishing, hiking and biking. There is a bike path that loops around the lake, but it's hard gravel and not entirely suitable for road bikes.
