Part of the Archaeological site on the pedestrian street of Nikolaidou, the Old Town Hall is a landmark building for the city of Elefsina and one of the most important legacy projects left to the city by the European Capital of Culture institution. The aim is to once again be the point of reference for the residents of Elefsina and the surrounding areas, as well as for visitors to the city, both during the year of the title of Cultural Capital, and after its completion, at which time it will also fall under the ownership of the Municipality of Elefsina until 2040.

After leaving Kineta going towards Megara you will see a lonely pine on your right hand side, casting it's shadow on the side of the road in late afternoon. A nice spot to stop safely as the roadside is very wide and admire the view.

Fortress of the 4th c. B.C. that controls the highland pass between Attica and Boeotia. It is situated about 1 km SW of the ancient demos of Phyle. It has an irregular elliptical plan measuring 95x30 m. Its wall, which reaches up to sixteen courses in height, is constructed in the isodomic system and runs round part of the hill, at the north , east and south sides, as the precipitous west and southwest sides were left unwalled. The main gate, which has collapsed, is located on the eastern side, while still stand the smaller southern gate with its lintel. The fortress is defended by means of four impressive towers all extending beyond the outer perimeter of the wall, three of which are rectangular and one circular. The circular one is the most imposing of all, with a diameter of 6 m, and protected the most vulnerable northern side. In Stika there's a short segment where bikers can use the quieter city street that to get off the coastal road. There's a short detour option down to Vadaris Beach, which is not much of a beach, but has a nice trail to rocks down to the water, and some cool caves.

A pebble beach at the bottom of the steep slope below the scenic coastal road is hard to reach but you would probably have it for yourself. The route along the southern coast of the Attika peninsula here squeezes along the narrow space below the almost vertical cliffs of the Kavelari mountain that reaches 640 m elevation almost vertically up from sea level. The road stays mostly above ground, the train and the new A8 freeway are narrowly stacked above into the slope, partially forced into tunnels where there's not enough space.
