It is definitely worth exploring this place in more detail. Lots of nice little shops and good restaurants. The famous Twin Bay is easy to reach. Good shoes are recommended, though.

The Esplanadas are a French-style promenade with cafes under the arcades. There are also cafés in the park directly opposite. However, the atmosphere there is rather cool and a bit dated.
