Vác의 도나우 강변(독일어: Waitzen)은 헝가리 도나우 굴곡에서 가장 아름다운 산책로 중 하나로 여겨집니다. 맞은편 강변(Visegrád)은 종종 관광객으로 붐비지만, Vác은 좀 더 편안하고 거의 지중해적인 분위기를 제공합니다. 강변 산책로는 산책객과 자전거 타는 사람들에게 도시의 중심지입니다. 오래된 밤나무가 늘어서 있으며 도나우 강 본류와 센텐드레 섬의 탁 트인 전망을 제공합니다.

Dunakesziben található római erődítmény a késő antik katonai mérnöki munka lenyűgöző példája. Ez egy úgynevezett Ländeburgus – egy erődített kikötői létesítmény közvetlenül a Duna partján. Az erőd a Duna bal partján feküdt, amely akkoriban valójában a Római Birodalmon kívül (az úgynevezett Barbaricumban, a germánok és szarmaták területén) helyezkedett el. Hídvédfőként szolgált a folyón való átkelés biztosítására és az ellenséges törzsek mozgásának megfigyelésére. Közvetlenül szemben, a Szentendrei-szigeten egy ellenpár volt, amely lehetővé tette az átkelőhely teljes ellenőrzését.

A popular and well-known excursion spot, a few kilometers from Szentendre is Lajos Spring. It can be reached by an asphalt road that goes up to the Spring. From here, hiking and forestry trails follow. The spring water is drinkable, the spring lake is enclosed by walls and is in fairly good condition. There is no information about the tourist house directly near the spring. In any case, the whole thing could do with some modernization, because everything looks the same as when I was here in 1988...
