Schloss Neetzow is a manor house in Neetzow in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. The building, constructed in 1851 in the neo-Gothic style, was designed by the Berlin architect Friedrich Hitzig (Wikipedia).

The castle and the surrounding landscape park form a wonderful ensemble that is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast alone on the terrace with a view of the park should be worth at least one night in the hotel. The impression of the large rotunda inside is overwhelming. The atmosphere in the house is really pleasant, the owner/operator is personal and approachable. We recommend.

The castle was built as a mansion by the Schinkel student Friedrich Hitzig between 1848 and 1851 in neo-Gothic style on behalf of Wilhelm von Kruse and is now very popular as a wedding palace.
