Every year in autumn, the Fruit and Wine Festival takes place. This is an opportunity to visit Germany's easternmost wine cellar, taste wine, purchase regional products at the craft market, and simply stroll through the grounds.

A very beautiful stream valley. The path sometimes leads directly along the stream and then again a few meters away. There is a wonderful deciduous forest on the eastern slope in particular, which creates a wonderful backdrop with its fresh green in spring.

This rest area can certainly also be used by hikers, but it belongs to the "Spatzennest" daycare center in Schlegel. It is something like the "forest outpost." Accordingly, visitors are also asked not to destroy anything, which should actually be a matter of course.

Former Jakob II plant for the production of aviation fuel. Was a plant of the National Socialist armaments industry intended for the Hirschfelde brown coal works of the ASW. The plant never went into operation.
