Walthamstow Wetlands is a 521-acre (211 ha) site comprising ten reservoirs that provide drinking water for London. It's so close to the centre of the town that only cycling is possible to understand how easy is to reach the reservoirs for a small city escape.

There’s a cafe and toilets near the lake, and a big farmer’s market with lots of food stalls on Sundays.

St. James's Park is the oldest royal park in London. Centrally located in the City of Westminster, Buckingham Palace and Downing Street are close by. And the London Eye Ferris wheel is also in sight.
