They have free camping with a shower and bathrooms right next to the grounds. There is a bar just next to the campgrounds! And the restaurant serves a set menu meal, roughly 18-20€ per person. All farm to table. Genuinely felt like walking into a agricultural utopia. Would recommend to anyone passing by, even if it's a little out of the way too.

The bridge has been closed to car traffic since July 2025 due to its poor condition. Concrete elements prevent crossing. However, pedestrians and cyclists can currently continue to use the bridge. The concrete elements can easily be bypassed. This means the EV8 route can still be followed, even though Komoot currently does not allow route planning over this bridge.
