Here at the ferry dock near entrance 2 you can cross the lake by boat. The crossing is free or included in the entrance fee.

Gradinsko jezero (Gradinsko Lake), also known as Jezerce, is the tenth highest lake in the entire lake system, located at an altitude of 554 metres above sea level. It is one of the largest lakes, covering a total area of 8.1 hectares with a maximum depth of 10 metres in several places around the lake. The maximum length of the lake is about 450 metres, while the width varies between 80 and 290 metres due to its unusual L-shape. The lake belongs to the group of Upper Plitvice Lakes.

I have seen a lot of the world, this is really a gem!

I dont recomend this hike on temperatures above 25°C (30max for crazy people and enthusiasts:)) and 2L of water.(if you are not skilled even to avoid it in July/August). Good hiking shoes or firm sneakers and a hat. If sun is high one small umbrella would do a miracles( of course if you are stable on your feets).
