In 1806, French troops passed through Klein-Ziethen, Wolfslake and Neu-Vehlefanz on their way to Poland and East Prussia, plundering and burning. Today a boulder with the inscription "Reckin's Grave" covers this spot. It is customary for anyone passing by the burial site to place a small twig on the stone.
