The Solfelsen (sometimes called Pelzkappenstein) was registered as a natural monument in 1950. With a height of 5.4 meters and a mass of 230 tons, the exposed stone is not an ice age boulder, but was created by a long-lasting weathering process.

With a length of 200 meters, the Bad Säckinger wooden bridge is the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. The first bridge between the island town of Säckingen and the bank on the left bank of the Rhine, now Swiss, was mentioned in a document as early as the 13th century.

The sol rock - sometimes also called fur cap stone - is a natural monument registered since 1950. With a height of 5.4 meters and a mass of 230 tons, the exposed stone is not an glacial erratic block, but was created by a long-lasting weathering process. The granite block is weathered almost roundish due to weathering that always attaches to the fissures, which makes it so unique. When a quarry was to be built here in 1895, the Säckingen local group of the Black Forest Association bought the 44-acre area around today's natural monument in order to save it from being destroyed. The rock of the sol rock consists of Albtal granite, which contains inclusions of gneiss and andalusite horn rock.
