The sculpture in front of the fisherman's hut was created by Jean Y. Klein in 2017. It depicts the supposed Germanic spring goddess Ostara. The name and deity are disputed among scholars, however. But it's a beautiful myth nonetheless. Her sacred animal is said to be the hare, which she is seen gripping firmly by the ears.
