On the southern shore of Nedersø in Jels, there's an outdoor Viking theater performed by amateurs during the summer. The lake and forest also form the backdrop.

A nice parking lot by the lake, we will spend one night here. It looks like it will be a quiet night. Unlike the other parking lots by this lake, this one is far enough away from the road.

Sleeping in the aviary. This shelter gets more traffic, but the bunk is awesome. The shore is closer here than at the other shelter.

In Denmark there are official campfire sites in many places, here at the lake, for example, you can grill fresh fish directly with friends. Of course, the German translation of the information board is particularly great.

This shelter is a little quieter and more hidden than the other on the lake. Sleep like in a hobbit house! Nothing for tall people.

Attention, only open on weekends. Tasty and cosy, people with disabilities work here. Very open atmosphere.

Jels Church is located in the middle of the town of Jels and close to the Jels Søerne, and was built in 1854 as a successor to a smaller and somewhat dilapidated church building of hewn granite.
