Hvidbjerg Beach is named after the protected Hvidbjerg Klit, which is unique on the east coast of Jutland. The large white, fine-grained sand dune - 27 meters above sea level - is divided into Large and Small Dunes. From the top of Hvidbjerg Klit there is a fantastic view of the wooded Trelde Næs and the outermost part of the Vejle Fjord.

In the wet section you are not on the wrong track

Hvidbjerg Klit is absolutely unique for the east coast of Jutland. The large white fine-grained sand dune - 27 meters above sea level - divides into Store and Lille Klit. From the top of Hvidbjerg Klits there is a fantastic view over the forest-covered Trelde Næs and the outermost part of Vejle Fjord.

Rands Fjord is a former fjord at the end of Elbodalen, which with a dam and lock, built in 1866, has been transformed into a freshwater lake of approximately 180 hectares. Spang Å runs through the lake and via a canal at the eastern end out to the old estuary at the southeastern end of Vejle fjord by Hølsminde.

The white dune is located in a holiday home area directly on the Baltic Sea. The view of the sea is very good. There are a few jetties on the beach, which goes shallowly into the water. The place is worth a detour from the motorway!

Here you can park your car on a large meadow for free and walk to Hvidbjerg Klit.
