🫐🫒We were rewarded with plums and mirabelle plums along a long avenue. Of course, a little stone fruit ended up in our stomachs...but not too much at once, otherwise it would be thrown straight out of the gastrointestinal tract again 😉.

It will be renovated gradually (2024), but is already impressive. It is advertised as "The gateway to the 1000 ponds".

In the center of Knau. Quickly accessible by bike from the 1000 ponds. Only accessible on foot as part of a longer hike. With its special appearance, it is definitely worth a visit. Renovation is still being planned.

A nice little hiking trail goes along the Zechstein rocks. Here you will also find the so-called knee grotto, which served as a shelter for our ancestors 12,000 years ago.

It is not known when the church was built. The oldest bell is dated 1670.

Gottfried Schneider is probably the father of Paul Schneider, who bought the manor towards the end of the 19th century and expanded it into a model estate. The gravesite is at the back of the park.
