A castle with history in villages where you wouldn't suspect it. Now in private hands. More text coming soon...

A Lady Chapel was first mentioned in 1412. The church was probably built later, as the year 1740 can be found in various places.

A nice little hiking trail goes along the Zechstein rocks. Here you will also find the so-called knee grotto, which served as a shelter for our ancestors 12,000 years ago.

The first documented mention was in 1074, when it was still a moated castle. In 1850 the moat was filled in. After the expropriation in 1945, refugee families were quartered and so the castle escaped the destruction to which many other manor houses fell victim after the war.

It is not known when the church was built. The oldest bell is dated 1670.

The burial site is in a very dilapidated condition.

Church from 1351, rebuilt in the 17th century. Choir tower with onion dome and lantern. Inside there is a lectern baptismal angel carrying a cornucopia

The church is part of the castle ensemble and can also be viewed from the inside at any time.
