A few meters off the path there is a small sandy bay from which you have a beautiful view in all directions

Here you can walk along the extensive lakes of the former Elbe. From the dyke, hikers have a wonderful view from above of the impressive bird life in the water.

Café Hofliebe in Walsmburg. Beautifully located between Neu Darchau and Alt Garge or Bleckede. Ideal for a rest during a bike ride or hike. The cake is delicious! I took a photo of the opening times.

Although we were at the other bakery I would still recommend this one, just looked really nice and inviting. Was just closed when we were here.

Very beautiful historical village center

Ideal for nature lovers and rushed people to relax. Pure nature, with partly natural paths and trails. Whether hiking or cycling on the dike, it is very relaxing and quiet here. Please always keep dogs on a leash and be careful of the wild animals that live here. A wonderful piece of earth.

You have to see how and if you can go there. It is flooded in places and a nature reserve
