As an international joint project, the new bridge over the Hasenburger Mühlenbach was inaugurated in July 2018. Around 50 carpenters built this covered bridge from 18 Douglas fir and four oak trunks in the old craft tradition as part of the international craftsmen's meeting "Kesurokai" (Japanese: "Planing together").

The rest area is no longer perfect. Paddle boats are no longer allowed to dock here as it is a nature reserve. It costs €50 per person.
