A small cobblestone path branches off from the road, climbing steeply. There's a parking lot for cars there, and the sheepfold is reached via the grassy path, where you'll also find a lovely bench with a view. The stable, however, is locked.

Nicely designed green area by the pond with benches, shelter and parking. A few steps further at the bus stop there is also a small children's playground. Starting point for walks to the boulder or to the fish ponds

Nice little park, in a very nice and quiet area. There is a pond in the park and the Ventschauer Bach runs west of the park. There are a few benches and a Salettl (a small wooden pavilion) in the park. There are also some beautiful hiking trails in the Ventschau area. The area is hilly and offers many forest, field and meadow areas. I often pass by here when I'm cycling from Lüneburg to Dannenberg and then I like to take a break here (I'm always looking for smaller, quieter and prettier side routes, because I don't like to cycle on federal road 216).

The 14 fish ponds of different sizes are particularly beautiful to look at during the autumn period. But it is also very beautiful here at all other times of the year. When the surrounding forests are reflected in the fish ponds, there are impressive photo opportunities. There are various paths around the ponds, some of which also lead into the woods (a really picturesque mixed forest area). In autumn you can also find many types of mushrooms here, among other things I saw a lot of chestnuts here.
