Amazing views of Lough Ouler,well worth the climb up to the top. Be warned the weather can close in fast up here, so make sure you've got an extra layer if you stop to admire the view.

Both Black Hill and nearby Sorrel Hill are great out and back run or hike outings and can be completed from the same sizeable car park at Ballynultagh Gap. These trails are very popular for a good reason, some great views can be had out over the Wicklow countryside from here.

Near to the famous Wicklow Way hiking route, this area is a paradise for off-road riding. It's tough going especially in bad weather, but it's worth it.

Another fine set of trails in the Wicklow Mountain range. On the lower slopes of Sorrel Hill the riding is varied and interesting. Well worth seeking out.

Good MTB trails in one of Ireland's off-road hotspots. Varied terrain and surfaces makes Saggart Woods a fun place to ride.

Great views on all sides of the Wicklow and Dublin Mountains. Just under 500 metres up, so a good amount of climbing and hike a bike to get here.

Perched on the side of the river Barrow and close to Crom a Poo Bridge, White's Castle is one of the jewels in Athy's Crown. Athy itself is a very pretty town so well worth taking the time to look around.
