The parish church of Peter and Paul in St. Peter is a unique example of baroque architecture in the entire southern German region.

The Bertoldsbrunnen in St. Peter in the Black Forest stands in the middle of Bertoldsplatz in front of the monastery complex. It is dedicated to Duke Berthold II of Zähringen as the founder of St. Peter and was built in 1902. As part of the community's 900th anniversary in 1993, the mosaic coats of arms of the Zähringen towns were embedded in the ground around the fountain.

Great resting place, also nice for just taking a walk. That looks like a serious lightning strike, well, they say it never strikes the same spot again :P

The narrow path between the Hornweiher and St. Peter is a wonderful place to hike. And it offers you wonderful views down to St. Peter. There, the monastery's twin towers rise up as a perfect photo opportunity.
