Bee-eaters nest here from May to August. They overwinter in Africa.

In the so-called “Herrschaftswald” some trenches and earthen bunkers are still preserved, but can only be seen by the expert eye.

A church was mentioned in a document in 1366. A new building was built in 1659 and consecrated in 1673. 1835 was a fire. In 1970 the church was restored inside.

The Siegendorfer Puszta and Heide is a nature and landscape conservation area in the cadastral district of Siegendorf. The Siegendorfer Sandpußta lies on the edge of the terrain between the level of the Wulka basin and the Rust ridge. The cattle were grazed on the hut pasture until 1938. After the war, the hut pasture was used again as pasture. From the 1960s it was also used as a glider and sports airfield.
