This platform sits across the canyon from Elk Falls, offering a clear, elevated view of the waterfall plunging into the Campbell River gorge below. Railings and a cantilevered design extend the viewpoint over the canyon, making it one of the best and safest places in the park to view the falls and the surrounding forest.

About an hour up and 45 mins down. Beautiful views!

Rosepond Lake is a beautiful and quiet, forest-lined pond about halfway through the Booth’s Rock Trail loop that’s visible through the trees but not easily reached from the path. It’s a peaceful spot along the trail, typically buzzing with dragonflies and birds, and a good place to slow your pace before the final climb.

I have done this at the end of July. While it is as everybody describes, easy to the lower falls and not super hard to the upper falls, it was extremely crowded and it felt more like cattle drive up there. I suggest do this very early in the morning or evening there is probably less traffic.

The Lighthouse Loop is a 3.1 km loop trail along the Pacific coast at the headland near Ucluelet. Highlights along the trail include the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse, Inspiration Point, and He-Tin-Kis Beach. He-Tin-Kis Beach is located north of Inspiration Point. Steps lead down to the beach from the Lighthouse Loop. During our visit on May 16, 2025, the sky was cloudy, and it was raining occasionally. Nevertheless, it's worth walking down to the beach to enjoy the special landscape during low tide. There were also no other walkers around.

The Lighthouse Loop runs along the edge of the rugged rocky coast and offers spectacular views of Barkley Sound and some offshore rocky islands.
