Awesome Te Hoho rock. Short and easy walk down. There is no public parking so you must take the Park and Ride Shuttle.

Unfortunately, the bridges are currently unusable! To get to the back pool (the blue one), you have to cross the stream. With a swimsuit (which I unfortunately didn't have with me today), it's no problem at all given the moderate water level!

One of the most magical hike I’ve done so far. Incredibly easy access for so much visual pleasure. You feel like an Elf straight out of the Lord of the Rings saga.

Unfortunately the glacier is not accessible anymore so the only thing you see is some rough ice in the far distance. I would still recommend this hike though but more for the scenery along the way, especially Moraine walk.

If you ever wanted to feel like the Elfs from Lord of the Rings, this is the place. It feels magical with some amazing picture opportunities. The walk is not tough so can also easily be completed with kids.

A few meters from the hiking trail you can discover an inconspicuous waterfall... but a little further on the Taranaki Falls are much more worthwhile
