A path has been trampled here, leading to a swimming area. Such paths exacerbate the already increasing erosion. I strongly recommend avoiding it. 🙄🙈

A magnificent waterfall, as described several times. On this tour, we found the trail from 4.60 km onward to be a bit dangerous. The trails here are unmarked and sometimes lead directly past unprotected steep slopes. For less experienced hikers, the ascent from the road at the marked point is better.

It is better to hike up the waterfall as it is quite slippery in places.

A beautiful and wonderful natural spectacle

The Martuljek Waterfalls are located in the heart of the Martuljek group above the Gozd Martuljek valley. The area was declared a landscape park in 1949 and has been part of the Triglav National Park since 1981. Two waterfalls - pearls of the Slovenian alpine world - are located below Špik. Particularly spectacular is the Zgornji Martuljkov slap waterfall, which falls in three stages over a 110 m high vertical wall.

Super beautiful waterfall, parking at the waterfall costs €5. Right after the town, there is a hiking car park with a parking ticket (80 cents/hour), but only card payments are possible. Then you can hike along the river to the waterfall.

Prices from 2024 Korita Mostnica and the Voje Valley are among the most beautiful and most visited natural attractions in Bohinj. On the way through the gorge you can admire the crystal clear waters and boldly transformed rocks, enjoy the diverse flora and fauna and the cultural landscape that has been cared for by the locals over the centuries.
