always great this little circular route. Easy to master even with smaller kids. best in warm temperatures, as you get really wet.

Super beautiful waterfall, parking at the waterfall costs €5. Right after the town, there is a hiking car park with a parking ticket (80 cents/hour), but only card payments are possible. Then you can hike along the river to the waterfall.

ATTENTION ⚠: the access road to the waterfall (Triglavska Cesta) is being renovated and cannot or may not be driven on from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. At this time there is construction. Unfortunately, there is no date by when the construction work will be completed. Maybe just take it into account in the next few days/weeks.
Maybe someone can let you know when it's done 😉.
Oh and the parking fee is currently waived because the hut is closed. I think that also has something to do with the construction work.
After 5 p.m. you can drive to the waterfall behind. We were all alone but 🤫😉

Always worth a visit.
Parking fee of € 3 for 2 hours is absolutely reasonable, otherwise admission is free.

A magnificent waterfall, as described several times. On this tour, we found the trail from 4.60 km onward to be a bit dangerous. The trails here are unmarked and sometimes lead directly past unprotected steep slopes. For less experienced hikers, the ascent from the road at the marked point is better.

A must-see highlight in Slovenia. Accessible via road, the first hour is free (although one hour shouldn't be enough). A great hike to the waterfall; you can even walk around it with a free hair wash if you don't have a hood with you ;-) You can also climb to a second level above the waterfall. An adventure even with children!

There's a barrier across the road. You can park at the museum in Mojstrana (€1 per hour). A free shuttle bus takes you to the waterfall in 8 minutes.
