The Vintgar Gorge impresses with its crystal-clear water. The current entrance fee of 5 €, however, I find personally quite juicy.
It is best to go to the gorge early in the morning or at 6 pm, then less is going on.

A beautiful trail through the gorge with a lovely return walk through the forest to the parking lot. The entrance fee is currently €10 and is worth every penny. I found the parking fee of €10 a bit expensive.

The Vintgarklamm (Slovenian: Blejski vintgar) is a gorge about 4 km northwest of Bled in Slovenia. It can be reached from Bled via the villages of Grad, Grinsce, Sp.-Gorje and Zg.Graben. The gorge belongs to the Triglav National Park and was already developed as a tourist attraction at the end of the 19th century. In addition, the river valley is one of the protected natural monuments.
The gorge was washed out by the Radovna River up to 300 meters deep between the vertical walls of the mountains Hom and Boršt, is about 1600 m long and ends at the 13 m high waterfall Šum. This gives it the largest drop in all river waterfalls in Slovenia. The Radovna River rises in about 1000 m altitude in the Julian Alps northeast of the Triglav.
A paid hiking trail (5 €) takes about 30 minutes over bridges, boardwalks and galleries through the towering gorge.

On my next visit I would save myself the long, useless hike back by buying the admission and turning around until shortly before the ticket booth at the end of the gorge and then walking back down the Vintgar Gorge in the opposite direction.
Then I have two great impressions, it's not that strenuous.

Really beautiful, but it's a bit of a shame that it's a pure tourist spot. We were there in high season (August) and had to wait over an hour to get in. Entry costs 10€. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear from the Komoot route that you had to pay here, so it was a nasty surprise

A really great gorge, unfortunately I think the entrance fee is a bit more expensive. And it's a one-way street, but you can do a great circular hike with great views. Dogs are welcome.

An early morning or late evening adventure is worth it. Otherwise it is completely overcrowded here and unfortunately you have to push through more. Unfortunately, this hike is not recommended during the day, even with four-legged friends.
Otherwise it is beautiful, the water has a great fairytale color. In some places you can deviate from the path and go down to the river, there it is a little quieter.
At the beginning and the end there are refreshment stations where you can get something to eat.
