Peak View Pond is a tiny little reservoir just off the side of the Peak View Pond Trail. It's tucked in a cove of trees and makes for a shady spot to take a break.

A visit to the area would not be complete without a trip to Mueller State Park. Also popular with hikers, it is a wildlife spotters paradise with elk, black bear, hawks and mule deer all calling it their home. There are abundant views of the west of Pikes Peak and camp grounds if you are looking to stay the night.

Lost Pond is a beautiful, small pond in Mueller State Park. It is surrounded by woodlands and is a great place to take a break in a peaceful, relaxing environment.

This old structure still stands (but not well) hike past it and imagine when it was in its glory at the old ranch.

This is a good hiking area for younger kids. The wet green meadows can also be home to many wildflowers around the pond.

After Geer Pond, this is the second pond on this path in Mueller State Park.
