If you look east from the Sky Tower down Victoria Street West, you will see Albert Park on a small hill about 450 m away. At the end of Victoria Street W you can climb up to the center of the park under old trees. It is a small, well-kept park with sculptures and lawns. A fountain with flower beds and benches invites you to linger / relax. Adjacent are buildings of the University of Auckland.

Well maintained park with beautiful sunset and lots of dogs. This is the real New Zealand vibe. Lots of open space for walking, running, socializing and exercising. Clean, wide paths and bridges. Playground for the kids, view of the harbor and the dogs love swimming in the lagoon. Lots of other dogs with friendly owners, plenty of parking. It's lovely here, enjoy the morning and evening walks. Wheelchair accessible!
