The quiet and the view of this large lagoon is a true enchantment for the senses. Traveling along Lake Varano by bike offers sensations that are certainly worth the entire journey to get there by pedaling from the nearby tourist resorts.

Unfortunately closed at the moment, looks very dilapidated. But a very nice little town on the lake!

Apricena is a municipality located between the Tavoliere delle Puglie and the Gargano promontory, near the lakes of Lesina and Varano. It is known for its limestone quarries, used for the construction of monuments and palaces and exported all over the world. Among the historical attractions are the Baronial Palace, the Clock Tower and the Mother Church of Santi Martino e Lucia.

San Paolo di Civitate is a municipality in the middle Fortore Valley, in the province of Foggia. It originates from Teanum Apulum, an ancient Roman city founded by Trajan, but the first settlements in the area date back to the Dauni population, in the first millennium BC. The municipality preserves the Civic Museum with the archaeological finds of Tiati and Fiorentino.

Almost 10km wide, it represents the largest Italian coastal body of water. Very important area both for fishing and for tourism

It was born as a tourist resort linked to the municipality of Lesina. Marina di Lesina is located within the Gargano National Park. Here is Lake Lesina, separated from the sea by a strip of land known as Bosco Isola. From Marina di Lesina you can reach the Tremiti Islands.
