On the Reuther Berg hill, at the top of the steep slope, stands the Sun Temple, a pavilion offering panoramic views far across Kasendorf. This is the second Sun Temple on this site. The first was built before 1936. The second, current Sun Temple was rebuilt in 1948/49. Two Kasendorf residents, master carpenter Fritz Schneider and carpenter Ferdinand Richter, undertook the construction of the pavilion themselves.

I've ridden it before, it's good for beginners.

The Mainaue, also often called the floodplain, is located in the Kulmbach municipal area. There used to be fish 🐟🐠, and we often caught some by hand from the Main 😌, yeah, really 🤝

There is a small bench near Leithen at the end of the Buchwald forest. From there you have a wonderful view all the way to the Plassenburg, the rear view of which also has its charms.
