The car park at the beach kiosk on the Sachfwascher Bay in Rimsting is the starting point for beautiful Chiemsee walks. You can go through the beach to the bird watching hut at the mouth of the Prien and watch the water birds there. At the hut there are also informative display boards and visual aids about the fish and birds of Lake Chiemsee.

The food here is cheap compared to other alpine pastures, but still very tasty. If you're ever on the Samerberg, then take a break here
