Cima Dodici (also known as Cima XII), between Portule and Ortigara, is the highest peak on the Asiago Plateau, as well as in the entire province of Vicenza: 2,336 meters. Cima d'Asta (m.2847) is an excellent panoramic point overlooking the main Dolomite groups. The Cavinato bivouac located a few meters below the summit is also impressive as a reminder that the Great War reached these altitudes. The climb from the Brentari Refuge is physically demanding, but apart from an aided section of the Forzeleta, it does not present particular difficulties. ATTENTION: we often move on granite blocks so it is advisable to avoid tackling the wet path.
