Heiligenberg Castle, located high above Lake Constance and visible from afar, shapes the Linzgau landscape, and is rightly considered the pearl of the Renaissance.

No more castle tours / visits until further notice (as of 01/25/2022) Christian Hereditary Prince zu Fürstenberg and his family have moved their residence to Heiligenberg. In order to ensure the safety and privacy of the young family, the community of Heiligenberg and Haus Fürstenberg have agreed not to conduct guided tours of the castle until further notice. “In the last few decades, we have been very happy to open our doors to fellow citizens who are interested in art history. We ask for your understanding that we cannot continue this for the time being, so that our flock of children can grow up carefree at home," explains the Hereditary Prince. However, the House of Fürstenberg has signaled that Schloss Heiligenberg can be opened to the public on special occasions such as Monument Day.
